Jessica is an active
performer, choreographer, producer and teacher. In
addition to owning & operating SHOCKra studio she develops
her own artistic works through
SHOCKra Arts.
Credits: 27 Rue de Fluerus (Off-Broadway), Urinetown,
Warrior, Colors of Autumn, Ruddigore, Imaginary Invalid, Pal
Joey, Sweet Charity, Will Rogers Follies, Warrior. She has
had the pleasure of assisting Broadway Choreographer David
Marquez and working with the Virginia Ballet Theater.
Jessica graduated from The College of William & Mary in
Williamsburg, VA.
Teaching Philosophy: "I love teaching dance as
a means to something greater than ourselves. Dance
cultivates positive energy whether simply having fun,
fearlessly dancing carefree to your favorite songs, or
reflecting inward to one's own breath and the body's natural
expression of life. I have found dance (both for me,
personally, and my clients) to be an incredible LIFE TOOL!!!
It's one of the big three we're given as humans: mind,
BODY,
& soul. There is such joy to be found by knowing one's body
& learning to move in our own way."
